Image
A Chinese man named Pu Zhao recently realized his childhood dream of walking on the moon. The 31-year-old is a cross-country and photography enthusiast. When he was planning for a road trip to north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region earlier this month, he heard about the Gobi Desert in Suhongtu, part of Inner Mongolia’s Alashan League, that very much looks like the surface of the moon. This was the moment Pu decided to fulfill his lifelong dream of exploring the moon. Before departure, he spent 200 yuan (30 US dollars) buying a simple space suit online, and wore it for possibly the best lunar experience of his life.

An event celebrating Shreeya's achievement was organised later the same day in her hometown, with well-wishers once again treated to a demonstration of her amazing talent for limbo skating. 160 cars can drive side by side on the Monumental Axis in Brazil.

The Monumental Axis ( "Eixo Monumental" in Portuguese) is a central avenue inBrasília's city design. The avenue begins on the National Congress of Brazil building and is considered part of the DF-002 road. Its first section is known as "Ministries Esplanade" ("Esplanada dos Ministérios"), as it is surrounded by ministries buildings. Many important government buildings, monuments and memorials are located on the Monumental Axis. A common urban legend persists that the Monumental Axis is the widest road in the world, where "[100 to 160] cars can drive side by side". This is untrue, as the road consists of two avenues with six lanes on either side; a total of twelve lanes. However, it was in the Guinness Book of Records as having the widest median (central reservation) of a divided highway (dual carriageway) in the world.
